Why Should My Company Get Involved?

The Dixie Rotary Bowl is a premier event with clout. Status places the Dixie Rotary Bowl at a clear advantage for advertising opportunities; today it's a highly sought event in which teams now clamor for participation. Over the years, we've built a solid reputation as hosts of one unforgettable bowl. A reputation that's followed us to the NCAA DII where the Dixie Rotary Bowl has become a buzzword among teams anxious for the opportunity to play. That reputation increasingly identifies Utah's Dixie as a destination and more; it's marked as a place to call home.

"My family and I really enjoyed the 2007 Dixie Rotary Bowl weekend in St. George, Utah. What a great setting and atmosphere for the bowl game! With good places to stay, eat and watch our son play football, we will always have special memories of that weekend." - Art Wardlaw, CSM Dad

An Impressive Purpose

The historical purpose of the Dixie Rotary Bowl is to promote tourism and economic development for our community. Those who have been a part of the bowl never forget our community due to the outstanding hospitality, the excellent climate, and the beautiful surrounding. Many have returned over the years to live, work, golf, and/or vacation here.

Unforgettable Exposure

Media Coverage & Fan Numbers: Sponsors of the bowl have an abundance of advertising opportunities for their business leading up-to, during and after the events. The bowl touts an annual average attendance of some 5,000; an average that's slated to grow to more than 9,000 with increased fan participation from the Division II schools invited.
Web traffic: The Rotary Bowl web site receives over 48,000 annual visitors with 12,000 hits during peak months surrounding the bowl.
Demographic: Corresponding events including the Jr. Rotary Bowl, Parade, 23rd Army Band Concert, half Time Show and Golf Tournament reach both football fans and non-fans, with an array of diversified events that appeal to a variety of interests. As many as 4,000 people participate in these corresponding events.

A Prominent Reputation

The reputation of the Dixie Rotary Bowl has defiantly caught the attention of officials at the NCAA. The Rotary Bowl was a key element in reducing the time of Dixie State College's transition to NCAA Division II to two years instead of four (as reported by DSC president Lee Caldwell) and the NCAA has expressed definite interest in St. George as a potential Division II Championship Festival site. Over the years, we've built a solid reputation as hosts of one unforgettable bowl - a reputation that's followed us to the NCAA DII where the Dixie Rotary Bowl has become a buzzword among teams anxious for the opportunity to play.

A Remarkable Partnership

The Dixie Rotary Bowl begins its highly anticipated associations with the Great Northwest and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conferences. The bowl will feature the top team from each conference not invited to the Division II playoffs. These conference partnerships enhance the ability of the bowl to achieve its historical goals of attracting visitors to the community and promoting St. George as an ideal location to vacation and to live. With this expanded opportunity for regional and national exposure we anticipate 2,000-3.000 fans attending from the conferences, more regional market exposure throughout the season, plus televised games and web casts.

A Memorable Experience

"It was a real privilege for us to be represented in the Rotary Bowl. I am well aware of the efforts it takes to put on such an event and I was very impressed with the organization and efforts of your committee members. I am looking forward to next year and an outstanding future for the bowl game." - Richard Hannan, GNAC Commissioner
